Garage Floor Coatings
Your garage is more than a place to park. It may also serve as your workshop, storage area, home gym, hobby space, or the entrance you use every day. Unfortunately, unfinished concrete can quickly become stained, dusty, difficult to clean, and visually disconnected from the rest of your home.
Build a Garage You Are Proud to Open
Your garage is more than a place to park. It may also serve as your workshop, storage area, home gym, hobby space, or the entrance you use every day. Unfortunately, unfinished concrete can quickly become stained, dusty, difficult to clean, and visually disconnected from the rest of your home.
STRONG garage floor coatings transform ordinary concrete into a clean, finished surface that makes the entire garage feel more intentional. With a wide selection of decorative flakes and custom color combinations, your floor can be designed to complement your vehicles, cabinetry, walls, lighting, or personal style
Designed for Everyday Garage Life
A garage floor must handle more than foot traffic. Vehicles, tires, tools, storage equipment, spills, temperature changes, and household projects can all place stress on the surface.
Our coating systems are designed to provide a seamless, easy-to-maintain finish suited for active residential garages. Polyurea and polyaspartic systems are widely used in garage applications because they can offer quicker curing, flexibility, and resistance to common forms of wear when properly specified and installed.
Benefits of a STRONG garage floor
- A clean, professionally finished appearance
- Decorative color and flake options
- Easier cleaning and routine maintenance
- Reduced concrete dust
- Protection from common spills and abrasions
- A brighter, more functional garage
- A seamless surface without loose tile edges or grout lines
Garage Floor Process
Floor Evaluation
We inspect the concrete for cracks, previous coatings, moisture concerns, damaged areas, and other conditions that could affect the installation.
Surface Preparation
The floor is mechanically prepared to remove surface contaminants and create the profile needed for the coating system to bond properly. Professional preparation is one of the most important factors in the performance of a coated concrete floor.
Crack and Surface Repair
Visible cracks, pits, and damaged areas are addressed as appropriate before the coating is applied. Some concrete movement or future cracking may remain possible, so warranty language should clearly state what types of repairs and movement are covered.
Base Coat and Flake Broadcast
A pigmented base coat is installed, followed by decorative flakes broadcast across the surface to create color, texture, and visual depth.
Scraping and Finishing
After the flake layer cures, excess material is removed and the surface is prepared for its protective finish.
Clear Top Coat
A clear topcoat seals the decorative layer and provides the completed floor with its finished appearance and protective surface.
